About
Our first stay at an all-inclusive resort was also the week we got engaged! Two years later, we held our wedding at an all-inclusive resort, and we can’t imagine having an easier time planning nor having more fun with our guests. We love resorts with long paths for walks after dinner, catching the shrimp in our mouths at a resort’s hibachi restaurant, and giving nicknames to the other guests we see on the beach every day. We do a TON of research before going to any resort and want to share our findings with you!

FAQ
Brooklyn, NY! Jack was born in Poland, and Katie was born in Ohio, but they were lucky enough to meet each other in NYC in 2006.
We spend most of our time at the beach, so beautiful soft sand and clear blue water is our #1 requirement. We only use our room for sleeping, and we can live on pizza from the snack bar if needed, so the beach is the most important thing to us!
Iberostar Selection Bávaro in Punta Cana. We choose it because we were familiar with the Iberostar brand, it was mid-priced with all suites, and we knew the atmosphere of Punta Cana would be fun for our guests. Plus, there are actually four Iberostar resorts side-by-side here, so guests could pay more to stay at the adults-only Iberostar Grand Bávaro or less to stay at the Iberostar Dominicana.
We’re assuming you know to pack a swimsuit and sunscreen! Our favorite thing to bring from home is an insulated travel cup with a lid and a straw. Resorts will generally serve you in small cups so nothing goes to waste, but when we order a drink, we want a full 20 oz. of rum every time! You can hand your cup to the bartender or the servers at the beach and pool, and they’ll fill it for you as other guests look on with jealousy.
